Introducing Peer Mediation
Rarely do we get a chance to influence future generations. Sometimes, once in a career, the lucky or the diligent may achieve something which will stand the test of time. Mostly we focus on individual clients and cases.
Supporting this Forum provides an opportunity to do something professionally that most will never get - the chance to seed the process whereby the attitudes of young people to disputes and challenges is changed for ever. Peer mediation in schools offers children the chance to replace conflict and bullying with collaboration and resolution.
Harmony & Cohesion
Many will have experienced the pains of unhappy schooldays. The regret at time lost. The hurt and the anger. By using school students to mediate the tensions that emerge not only do strong solutions emerge but the whole ethos of the school changes. Harmony replaces hate and cohesion, conflict.
